Civil Engineering,
Structural Engineering, or Land Surveying INTERNS

3 Rocks Engineering & Surveying is accepting applications from engineering and land surveying students currently enrolled in an engineering or land surveying program for the Summer ’24 Internship positions.

CIVIL ENGINEERING tasks may include using AutoDesk Civil 3D to create and modify construction design drawings for residential and commercial developments. Civil engineering tasks will also likely include completing drainage calculations and writing reports. Civil engineering interns may also be cross trained with our surveying staff.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING tasks may include drafting in AutoCAD, sizing various members, and assisting on structural inspections. Additionally, structural engineering interns may use RISA 3D, ENERCALC, or Revit for design tasks.

LAND SURVEYING interns will likely work with field survey crews to collect field information, conduct plat research, and draft survey documents. The land surveying intern will likely be involved on design surveys, boundary surveys, ALTAs, and other surveys.

Preference will be given to those majoring in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Land Surveying, and those nearest graduating college. Interns may be given the opportunity to work during future breaks if so desired.

GOTTA HAVE IT

Experience with AutoCAD
Currently enrolled in a college engineering or land surveying program or plans to enroll this coming Fall

BONUS POINTS

Majoring in civil engineering, structural engineering, or land surveying
Construction experience
Passion for awesome things in Cañon City (hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, food, rafting, rock climbing, etc.)
